The pump is of the canned rotor type,ie. Pump and motor form an integral unit without shaft seal and with only two gaskets for sealing. The bearings are lubricated by the pumped liquid. The pump is Characterized by UPA 120 - Shower Booster :The shower booster Model 15 -90 was introduced in the Indian market in the year 1999 through the distributor and dealer network. The key market segment was the domestic building services in the major Indian cities like Mumbai & Delhi. The customers were not quite happy and expressed their desire to have a new pump which can generate a higher pressure than UPA 15 -90.
